Private sewing lessons in the Clear Lake area for children, teens, and adults. Decorative painting and craft classes are also available. Be sure to book now! Sewing and painting classes for age 8 through adult. Craft classes for age 5 through adult. Parties for ages 5 through adult.

Introductory Class:
$45 for a two hour session

Additional classes:

Individual
2 hour session - $35
3 hour session - $50

Group of 2 - 6 people (rate per person)
2 hour session - $25
3 hour session - $40

****Bring three friends or host a home sewing group of 4 or more, and you'll get your first class free!*****

Bring your own supplies or I will be happy to provide them for an additional fee.

No sewing machine? No problem. I've got a limited number of machines available for your use at no additional charge.

Parties for up to 8 children:
2 hours- $120 (includes supplies)

Julie and Julia

I love the movie. I have actually cooked some Julia Child recipes. Her chocolate mousse was one of the recipes I tried early in my cooking experiences. As a novice cook, I found it extremely complicated, although not difficult. As a seasoned cook, it's not so complicated at all. I thought I'd share the links to some books on Amazon I thought you might like.

I haven't read the book, so I couldn't say. The movie exceeded my expectations which were quite high, given all the hype surrounding it. I think, even with no knowledge of Julie and Julia, one would find the film enjoyable and, indisputably, extremely well acted.
