Window Seat Cushion

Pin It When Keitha asked me to help her make a window seat cushion after just one introductory sewing class with me, I thought the project might be a bit ambitious, but we proceeded anyway. Then when I realized how long the cushion was (over 100 inches), I had to admire her fearlessness in wanting to tackle something that many experienced stitchers wouldn't dream of trying. The end result was pure perfection.

Take a look for yourself.
This striped fabric is beautiful (and also unforgiving.)

Look how huge it is!

The pretty brown cording, a big challenge for a new sewer, goes great with the fabric and adds a completely professional look to the project.

Doesn't it look great?

Don't be afraid to try new projects. I can teach you how to sew so many things. If Keitha could make this in her second class with me, so can you. Customize your home, improve your skills, and save a fortune by learning how to do it yourself.
