Passion

What's my passion? After 30+ years in the corporate world, it seemed time to re-evaluate. It took six months to come to my answer: Creating things.

I paint. I sew. I cross stitch. I embroider. I crochet. I knit. I draw. I cook. I write. I make all kinds of things. It's hard to believe it took so much soul- searching to realize this was my passion, the things that I most looked forward to doing every chance I got.

I'm now in the wonderful postion of turning my passion into my career. Think of it as Maureen, The Sequel. It's a process, though, and still in its infancy.

I'm a native New Yorker, transplanted in Houston since 1976. I have been a self-employed consultant for the past 15 years and was a bank vice president prior to that. I'm married to Eric and we'll be celebrating our 23rd anniversary on 2/22. I have two gorgeous twin daughters, Jackie and Jessica, who just turned 21; and two lovable Shih Tzu's, Holly and Murphy, that we make way too big of a fuss over.
