Private Sewing, Painting, and Craft Lessons

Private sewing lessons in the Clear Lake area for children, teens, and adults. Decorative painting and craft classes are also available. Be sure to book now! Sewing and painting classes for age 8 through adult. Craft classes for age 5 through adult. Parties for ages 5 through adult.

New Prices (effective 11/1/11)

Introductory Class:
$45 for a two hour session

Additional classes:

Individual
2 hour session - $35
3 hour session - $50

Group of 2 - 6 people (rate per person)
2 hour session - $25
3 hour session - $40

****Bring three friends or host a home sewing group of 4 or more, and you'll get your first class free!*****

Bring your own supplies or I will be happy to provide them for an additional fee.

No sewing machine? No problem. I've got a limited number of machines available for your use at no additional charge.

PARTIES!!!
Parties for up to 8 children:
2 hours- $120 (includes supplies)
Each additional child- $10

Girls Night Out and Mothers Day Out
You deserve a break! Bring a friend or two, a bottle of wine or other beverage of your choice, and come have fun while you learn to sew or improve your sewing skills.

Sunday Dinner

What's on the menu today? I'm making fish tacos and Mexcian rice. I don't make my fish tacos the way I see them in most restaurants. I have my own recipe made with an incredible home-made tomatillo salsa and fresh red snapper.

Your dinner looks delicious. We are going out for crawfish tonight. Nicole said that was one of her favorite dinners-your fish tacos :) We want to try making them,too.

Crawfish sounds great. We have lots of leftovers if Nicole wants to come by tomorrow. I also have a little something I made for her that I keep forgetting about.

Maureen, I just love when you share (on here or Facebook) your Sunday dinners. There is something so special about committing to a weekly dinner like that with your family.-as much as you can of course- And from what I've heard you're an amazing cook.

All of the recipes look delicious, I have never had Fish Tacos. I'm on a cooking kick these days, I have to cook for Nari on my days off, and she cooks for me on her days off. We are so married. LOL.

I think I'm going to try Fish Tacos next! I would love to see more of your cooking tips and recipes on here.

Thank you, Dina. I will be posting more on the subject of cooking. People do seem to get excited when food is the subject :). I actually have my own cookbook that has been a work in progress for the past few years.

That's wonderful that you and Nari cook for each other. Living with a woman, instead of a man (usual caveats about how much I love my husband notwithstanding LOL), has always seemed like an idea that would come with many perks.
