Custom Designed Handbag

I was looking at handbags online and found so many that I liked, but, ultimately, I realized there were features of many that I liked. So that inspired me. Why not make my own bag and incorporate the features of each that appealed to me? So, I started sketching.

Then, a little more sketching and deciding on size, then determining all the pieces I would need to cut from the various fabrics, then determining the sizes of those pieces, to put it all together.

The drawings and notes become a handbag as you can see in the following photos.

It's perfect. It's got lots of pockets for storing my sunglasses, reading glasses, pens, keys, and everything else. I made the outer pockets large enough to accommodate a water bottle and my cell phone and keys-- all the things I need to get to most frequently without rummaging through everything else to get to them.

If you designed a bag for yourself, what features would you have to have?

(I can make a custom bag for you or I can teach you how to make one. Email me for more information. $85 for this style bag)
