Win a $25 Kroger Gift Card Right Here!

I've got the opportunity to offer a $25 Kroger gift card (includes many stores listed below*) to one Maureen Makes It reader! Who doesn't like FREE money, besides that baby on TV? (Thank you to Kroger, General Mills, and MyBlogSpark for providing the gift card.)

Did you take advantage of Kroger's June Value Event to buy five General Mills Products (like Pillsbury, Totino's, Chex Mix, and Yoplait) and get a $5 coupon? How would you like to pair that with a $25 gift card?

That's the best time for me to buy Yoplait yogurt, Betty Crocker brownie mix, Progresso soups (can't get enough of these!), and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. I love these sales because the savings are substantial. Watch your sale flyers because they do these kinds of sales from time to time.

I used to be diligent about clipping coupons but I don't seem to keep up with them anymore. Instead, I go to Kroger's web page and get all the digital coupons. That way, when I buy items, the coupons are already loaded onto my Kroger card and I get the savings without having to clip or carry coupons. Do you frequently buy things just because you have a coupon? Me too. That's another reason I like the digital ones. I don't actually keep track of which ones I've loaded so I'm only using coupons for things I actually buy. I guess we all have our methods. I also find it much easier to go to the Kroger web page to see the sales flyer every week. I know I get one in the mail, but I like to just run to the computer as I'm making my shopping list and see what's on sale before heading out. It's fast and convenient for me.

If you buy your gas at Kroger, as I do, the savings add up even faster when they have double (or more) points for fuel. I've saved as much as $1 a gallon when getting my gas. You can use your gift card to get gas, too.

So, do you want to win the gift card?

Just leave a comment below and say what you'd buy with the gift card. You don't need a google account- you can post anonymously. It's that easy. (Be sure to include your name and email address so I can contact you.)

If you want more than one entry, get a friend to like Maureen Makes It on Facebook (they should leave a comment there saying you sent them) and you'll get an extra entry for every person that says you sent them. And they can come here and leave a comment, too, and also be entered to win.

Random drawing will be on June 30, 2013, from all entries posted by midnight (central time) on June 29. Winner will be posted here and on Facebook and you'll have 48 hours to claim the gift card or another winner will be chosen.
